Fashion Week Outfits: Bangalore Fashion Week 2016

Bangalore Fashion Week 2016 – 15th Edition took place at Sheraton Bangalore, Brigade Gateway on August 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th. Our busy schedules just permitted us to attend on the 6th and 7th, which were the last two days of the BFW, day 3 and day 4 respectively. It was a great place to be for all the fashion lovers. There were some amazing designers showcasing their collection. Some young, some new and some well known designers took the center stage and rocked the show. It was spectacular to be in the presence of such amazing talent. Plus, it was a perfect excuse for us to get creative with our outfits and showcase our unique style. We also had the pleasure to meet a few up and coming fashion bloggers and designers, who just like us, were there to explore new talent and showcase their style. When there is so much creativity all around you, one can’t help but fall in love with fashion all over again and walk away being totally inspired. Below are a few pictures from the event along with greater details about the outfits we wore.

The ever so gorgeous and a dear friend, Deepika Naik, wore the classic LBD. This skater dress was so effortless and she paired it with black booties.

Vasundara added an extra touch to her outfit by pairing the jumpsuit with this black cape. The whole outfit came together beautifully.

August 6th (Day 3) :  I wanted my look  to be feminine and flirty and this Skater dress form Forever 21 was a perfect fit. The bright cobalt blue color was what I fell in love with. Since the dress was a bright color, I did not feel the outfit needed any more color, so, I decided to go with simple black wedges. As far as accessories were concerned I decided to keep it simple with a Michele Kors Rose gold watch and simple Diamond studs.

August 7th (Day 4) : This was the last day and my feet were sore from day 3 due to the wedges, so I chose comfort over pain. Like I have mentioned before I like to keep things simple and fuss-free. That’s why I decided to go with this D-ring Denim dress from KOOVS. It was so comfortable and breezy and yet did not compromise on style. I paired this with simple black flats; my feet couldn’t be more happier.

August 6th (Day 3) : This was a day 3 of BFW and it was my first time attending one of these events. Hence, I did not want to miss out on the opportunity to glam up and show up in style with my posse. Therefore I choose this black midi skirt with a little bit of flare form forever 21. I wanted to go with an all black look, but then decided against it and went with this casual grey T-shirt which is from Forever 21 as well.  I love statement necklaces, therefore to add a bit of glam to the otherwise plain outfit, I went with this silver statement necklace, also from forever 21. Wow, I didn’t realize my entire ensemble was from Forever 21! Well, what can I say,  I love that store! 😉 Since there was so much drama going on with the outfit, I decided to go with simple black stiletto heels. I had to take a spare of black flats just in case my feet give into the pain, which they did by the end of the night. And to complete the look I paired it with Fossil Gold watch and simple silver stud earrings from forever 21.

August 7th (Day 4): I learnt my lesson form day 3 and decided to stay away form the heels. On this day I wore this bright straight cut cobalt blue dress form Forever 21 and paired it with my all time favorite shoes (white Sneakers) from Target (US). I was too lazy to do my hair, hence this top bun. It’s a perfect hairstyle for one of those lazy days. Its simple and yet sophisticated at the same time.
